Rehab Appeals Board - Minutes 02-26-02NOT OIT7ICIGL UNTIL APPRO 7E,D BY '11- AD RE' HABIT S ITATION APP TEALS BOARD MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING ROSEMEAD BUILDING REHABILITATION APPEALS BOARD FEBRUARY 26, 2002 The regular meeting of the Rosemead Building Rehabilitation Appeals Board was called to order by Chairman Imperial at 7:00 p.m. in the Conference Room of City Hall, 8838 E. Valley Boulevard, Rosemead, California. The Pledge to the Flag was led by Boardmember Vasquez. The Invocation was delivered by Boardmember Clark. ROLL CALL OF OFFICERS: Present: Boardmembers Clark, Taylor, Vasquez, Vice - Chairman Bruesch, and Chairman Imperial Absent: None APPROVAL OF MINUTES: JANUARY 22, 2002 - REGULAR MEETING MOTION BY BOARDMEMBER TAYLOR, SECOND BY VICE- CHAIRMAN BRUESCH that the Minutes of the Regular Meeting of January 22, 2002, be approved as submitted. Vote resulted: Aye: Vasquez, Bruesch, Imperial, Clark, Taylor No: None Absent: None Abstain: None The Chairman declared said motion duly carried and so ordered. I. ADMINISTRATION OF OATH The Board Secretary administered the oath to all persons wishing to address the Board. H. HEARINGS A. 7821 GARVALIA STREET This item was deferred for 30 -days. REHABMIN:2 /26/02 Page # I B. 8908 GUESS STREET The subject property consists of an owner- occupied single family dwelling located in the R -1 zone. This case was initiated in August 2001, and no compliance has been achieved in over six months. Jacque V. Ngo, 8908 Guess Street, Rosemead, owner of property was present. Frank Tripepi, City Manager, asked the owner is he agrees with the Building Official's recommendations. MOTION BY VICE- CHAHUAAN BRUESCH, SECOND BY BOARDMEMBER VASQUEZ that the Board find the property substandard and order all substandard conditions be removed and/or corrected by April 1, 2002. However, if the required permits are obtained, and sufficient progress is achieved by April 1, 2002, the abatement date may be extended to May 1, 2002. Vote resulted: Aye: Vasquez, Bruesch, Imperial, Clark, Taylor No: None Absent: None Abstain: None The Chairman declared said motion duly carried and so ordered. M. STATUS REPORTS A.
