ORDINANCE NO. 605
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD REPEALING
ORDINANCE NO. 599 WHICH IMPOSED A
MORATORIUM ON THE CONSTRUCTION OF
HOTEL OR MOTEL PROJECTS
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD DOES ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council finds, determines and
declares:
(a) That on January 27, 1987, the City Council
enacted a moratorium on the construction of new hotel or
motel projects pending study and the adoption of new
regulations; and
(b) That on March 10, 1987, the City Council
extended the moratorium; and
(c) That on April 14, 1987, the City Council
introduced Ordinance No. 604, AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD ADOPTING HOTEL AND MOTEL
REGULATIONS; and
• (d) That on
adopted Ordinance
May 29, 1987.
April 28, 1987, the City Council
No. 604, which will become effective
Section 2. The City Council finds that the moratorium
will no longer be necessary upon the effective date of
Ordinance No. 604.
Section 3. Ordinance No. 599, imposing and extending a
temporary moratorium on hotel and motel construction is
hereby repealed effective May 29, 1987, at which time
Ordinance No. 604 imposing new regulations for the develop-
ment and operation of hotels and motels will be effective.
Section 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be processed
• according to law.
