ORDINANCE NO. 613
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ROSEMEAD REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 597 WHICH
IMPOSED A MORATORIUM ON THE ISSUANCE OF
BUILDING PERMITS WITHIN SPECIFIED AREAS OF
THE CITY.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD DOES ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council finds, determines and
declares:
(a) That on January 13, 1987, the City Council
enacted a moratorium on the issuance of building
permits within specified areas of the City as described
in Exhibit "A" hereto, which is incorporated herein by
this reference; and
(b) That on February 24, 1987, the City Council
extended the moratorium; and
(c) That on July 28, 1987, the City Council
introduced ordinance No. 606, AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD ADOPTING PLANNED
DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS; and
(d) That on August 11, 1987, the City Council
adopted Ordinance No. 606, which will become effective
September 12, 1987.
Section 2. The City Council finds that the moratorium
will no longer be necessary upon the effective date of ordinance
No. 606.
Section 3. Ordinance No. 597, imposing and extending a
temporary moratorium on Planned Development standards, is hereby
repealed effective September 22, 1987, at which time ordinance
No. 606 imposing new regulations for density requirements in the
Planned Development (P.D.) zone will be effective.
Section 4. The
