Ordinance No. 624 - Density and Parking RequirementsORDINANCE NO. 624 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD REPEALING SECTION 9104.20 CONCERNING DEEP LOTS IN THE SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL (R-1) ZONE AND AMENDING SECTION 9104 CONCERNING LOT COVERAGE, DENSITY AND PARKING REQUIREMENTS. ' THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Section 9104.6 of Part IV of the Rosemead Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows: 9104.6 Lot Area Minimum Six thousand (6,000) square feet with not less than six thousand (6,000) square feet of lot area per dwelling unit. Section 2. Section 9104.10 of Part IV of the Rosemead Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows: 9104.10 Parking and Garage Requirements. There shall be provided on the same parcel of land not less than two (2) parking spaces for each dwelling unit. Each such parking space shall be not less than ten (10) feet wide, seven (7) feet high, and twenty (20) feet long and shall be in a garage. Section 3. Part IV of the Rosemead Municipal Code is hereby amended by adding subsection 9104.11 thereto to read as follows: 9104.11 Permissible lot coverage. All buildings, including accessory buildings and structures, shall not cover more than forty-five (45) percent of lot area. Section 4. Subsections A through N of Section 9104.20 of Part IV of the Rosemead Municipal Code pertaining to additional dwellings on deep lots in the R-1 zone are hereby repealed in their entirity. Section 5. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this ordinance and shall cause the same to be posted in the manner required by law.
