Ordinance No. 630 - 2746 Muscatel Avenue1. ORDINANCE NO. 630 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD APPROVING A CHANGE OF ZONE FROM R-2 TO M-1D FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 2746 MUSCATEL AVENUE (Zone Change 88-157) THE CITY COUNCIL OP THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The City Council finds, determines and declares: (a) An application for a change of zone from R-2 to M-1D was duly filed by applicant Dah-Jin Huang, for property located at 2746 Muscatel Avenue and more particularly described on Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference; and (b) A public hearing was duly held before the Planning Commission on July 18, 1988 at which time the Commission recommended approval of said request; and (c) That on August 9, 1988, the City Council conducted a duly noticed public hearing on said zone change request. • Section 2. The City Council further finds: (a) That the change in zone for R-2 to M-11) is consistent with the goals, objectives and land-use designation of the subject area as contained in the City's general plan; and (b) That a Negative Declaration was prepared in accordance with State law and local regulation. The Negative Declaration was approved by the Planning Commission. Section 3. The City Council hereby approves Zone Change 87-157, from R-2 to M-1D for property located at 2746 Muscatel Avenue and more particularly described on Exhibit "A" hereto. Section 4. The Zoning Map of the City of Rosemead is • hereby amended to reflect the approved change of zone on the effective date of this ordinance. Section 5. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Ordinance and cause the same to be processed according to State law. PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED ti 3rd day of August 1988.
