RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the Redevelopment Agency authorize the attendance of any
Agencymember, the Executive Director and designated staff.

state.

UNDERSTANDING REDEVELOPMENT - ITS PURPOSE, POWERS AND FUNDING
A panel of experts in the field of redevelopment will present the basics of what a
redevelopment agency can do and how it is financed. By attending this session, you will gain an

UNDERSTANDING AND RESPONDING TO REDEVELOPMENT POLICIES AND POLICYMAKING
The redevelopment process is one of the most powerful tools available to local government
used to implement change in a community. When government intervenes in the private
marketplace, criticism may occur. Learn from a panel of experts how to handle these criticisms
along with other topics extracted from the CRA's Policy-Making and Politics in Redevelopment
Handbook.
