March 21, 2005
CALL TO ORDER: The regular meeting of the City of Rosemead Planning Commission was called to order
by Chairman Kelty at 7:00; p.m. in the council chambers of the Rosemead City Hall at 8838 East Valley
Boulevard, Rosemead.
Commissioner Lopez led the Pledge of Allegiance.
Commissioner Kelty delivered the invocation.

1. APPROVAL OF MINUTES Minutes of March 7, 2005
MOTION BY COMMISSIONER LOI, SECONDED BY COMMISSONER LOPEZ, that the minutes of
the City of Rosemead Regular Planning Commission Meeting of March 7, 2005, be APPROVED as
submitted.

2. EXPLANATION OF HEARING PROCEDURES AND APPEAL RIGHTS
City Attorney Price explained the public hearing process and the right to appeal Planning Commission
decisions to the City Council.

A. RESOLUTION 05 -07 - A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF ROSEMEAD, COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES, STATE OF CALIFORNIA,
APPROVING CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT 05 -996, FOR AN ON -SALE BEER & WINE
(TYPE 41) ABC LICENSE FOR A BONA FIDE PUBLIC EATING PLACE, LOCATED
AT 8450 GARVEY AVENUE, #102, IN THE M -1 (LIGHT MANUFACTURING AND
INDUSTRIAL) ZONE. (APN: 5283- 003 -029).
Chairman Kelty presented the resolution by title only.
MOTION BY COMMISSIONER LOPEZ, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER HERRERA, to waive
further reading and adopt said resolutions.
