The regular meeting of the Rosemead Keelung, Taiwan Sister City Committee was called to order by Chair Wang at 12:24 p.m. at the 888 Seafood Restaurant, 8450 Valley Boulevard, Rosemead,
California. ROLL CALL OF OFFICERS PRESENT: Chair Wang, Secretary/Historian Deng, Executive Board Member Hsien Wang, and Executive Board Member Lin OFFICIALS ABSENT: Vice-Chair Wu OFFICIALS
PRESENT: City Manager Allred 1. Public Comment – None 2. Approval of Minutes for the July 7, 2010 Rosemead Keelung, Taiwan Sister City Committee Meeting. The minutes of the July 7, 2010
Rosemead Keelung, Taiwan Sister City Committee Meeting were deferred to the next scheduled meeting. 3. Lunar New Year Family Festival, Saturday, January 22, 2011 (Rain date January 29,
2011). The Committee will discuss the festivities at this event to be held at the UFC Gym located at 8920 Glendon Way. Rosemead’s Chief of Police Lt. Tim Murakami and Crime Prevention
Specialist Mandy Wong will present information on the involvement of the Public Safety Department at this event. City Manager Jeff Allred went over the Lunar New Year Family Festival
and asked everyone to attend and enjoy the festivities. Chair Jimmy Wong introduced Police Chief Tim Murakami and Public Safety Coordinator Mandy Wong. Police Chief Tim Murakami and
Public Safety Coordinator Mandy Wong went over crime statistics for the City of Rosemead and informed everyone that the Rosemead crime statistics were decreasing. Police Chief Murakami
took a picture with the committee members. The following items were deferred to the next Rosemead Keelung, Taiwan Sister City Committee meeting. 4. Recap of the October 20, 2010 visit
to Keelung, Taiwan. 5. Plans for Sister City Exchange Activities in 2011/12.

Committee meeting is scheduled for April 6, 2011 at 6:00 p.m. and will take place at the Rosemead City Hall, Council Chamber at 8838 E. Valley Boulevard.
