MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING/
OF THE ROSEMEAD CITY COUNCIL
ON JULY 27, 1978 AT 8:00 P. M.
The Special Meeting of the Rosemead City Council was called
to order by Mayor Taylor in the Conference Room of City Hall,
8838 E. Valley Boulevard, Rosemead, California at 8:00 O'clock
p. M.
ROLL CALL OF OFFICERS:
Present: Councilmen Hunter, Cichy and Mayor Taylor
Absent: Councilmen Tury and Imperial
1. Reconsideration of Resolution No. 78-35 and No. 78-36
MOTION BY COUNCILMAN CICHY, SECONDED BY COUNCILMAN HUNTER
that Resolution No. 78-35 and Resolution No. 78-36 be rescinded.
Vote resulted:
UPON ROLL CALL ALL COUNCILMEMBERS PRESENT VOTED AYE.
The Mayor declared said motion duly carried and so ordered.
2. Adoption of Resolution No. 78-38
RESOLUTION NO. 78-38
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD
DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO CALL A SPECIAL ELECTION IN
CERTAIN INHABITED TERRITORY CONTIGUOUS TO SAID CITY PRO-
POSED TO BE ANNEXED THERETO, FOR THE PURPOSE OF SUBMITTING
TO THE QUALIFIED ELECTORS RESIDING IN SAID TERRITORY THE
QUESTION OF WHETHER OR NOT SAID TERRITORY SHALL BE ANNEXED
TO THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD AND FIXING A TIME AND PLACE WHEN
AND WHERE ANY PERSON OWNING REAL PROPERTY WITHIN-SUCH
TERRITORY MAY APPEAR BEFORE THE CITY COUNCIL AND SHOW
CAUSE WHY SUCH TERRITORY SHOULD NOT BE ANNEXED
MOTION BY COUNCILMAN HUNTER, SECONDED BY COUNCILMAN CICHY
that Resolution No. 78-38 be adopted and the reading in full be
waived. Vote resulted:
UPON ROLL CALL ALL COUNCILMEMBERS PRESENT VOTED AYE.

RESOLUTION NO. 78-39
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD

The Council Meeting was adjourned to the regular Meeting
of August 8, 1978 at 8:00 p. m.
