B. TRAFFIC CONCERNS ALONG ROSE GLEN A'VIME AT ARROYO DRIVE/OAKMILL AVENUE
Summary
A request was received to discuss traffic concerns along Rose Glen Avenue, south of San Gabriel Boulevard and
north of Oakmill Avenue /Arroyo Drive. A resident it *ns area exressed concems that traffic conditions (vehicle
speeding, road characteristics, street markings/signage) provide for safety concerns for residents in the
neighborhood. The resident has asked that traffic calming measures be installed using the City's Neighborhood
Traffic Calming "Toolbox" Program. Potential imor vements may include the use of additional street
striping /markings, parking restrictions, signage, and speed enforcement One interesting characteristic of this area is
that the border for the cities of Rosemead and Montebello sits on Arroyo Drive. As such, any improvements that are
made would require the cooperation of both cities.
