SUMMARY
The City Council will consider authorizing attendance to the National League of Cities
Congressional City Conference in Washington, DC, on March 9 th — March 13 th .
Staff Recommendation:
Staff recommends that the City Council authorize the attendance, at City expense, of
any Council Member that wishes to attend the National League of Cities Congressional
City Conference in Washington, DC.
ANALYSIS
The Expense and Use of Public Resources Policy, adopted by City Council Resolution
No. 2005 -47, requires prior City Council approval for out -of -state travel beyond an
adjacent state. Funding for this purpose is contained in the City's annual budget.
