PC - Minutes - 01-04-66C'TY OF ROSEMEAD ROSEMEAD, CALIFORNIA PLANNING COMMISSION Minutes of January 4, 1966 A regular meeting of the Planning Commission was held in the Council Chambers at 8815 E. Valley Boulevard. The meeting was called to order by Chairman Taylor at 7:35 o'clock P.M. 1. CALL TO ORDER The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Mr. Hersh, Director of Planning Commissioner Buchanan presented the Invocation 2. ROLL CALL Present: Commissioners: Buchanan, Holmes, Kunz, Pike, Taylor Absent : Commissioners: None Ex Officio: Brown, Davenport, Hersh, Meyer 3. APPROVAL OF MINUTES: DECEMBER 21, 1965 Additions & corrections to the minutes were as follows: (1) Page 1, Noi 5, Part 3: Change 8:53 to 7:53 (2) Addition: Page 2, No. 10, 2nd sentence: Add word applicable after other and before law. (3) Addition: :Page 3, No. 6, 2nd sentence: Add word applicable after other and before law. (MO) it was moved by Commissioner Kunz, seconded by Commissioner Buchanan; and unanimously carried that the minutes of December 21, 1965, be approved as corrected. TIME RESERVED tOk THOSE IN THE AUDIENCE WHO WISH TO ADDRESS THE COMMISSION 4. Mr. Meye'rl Administrative gqssistanti suggested that in the future the Commission be less bihding on time stipulation in motions. Reference was made to plot plan no. 231 which was withdrawn at the December 21, 1965 meeting. The Commission agreed it is a good point. (MO) It was moved by Commissioner Buchanan, seconded by Commissioner Pike, and unanimously carried that the Planning Commission permit plot plan no. 231, which was withdrawn without prejudice to be resubmitted by the applicant at some time within 90 days of this meeting. PUBLIC HEARINGS: None ADMINISTRATIVE UNFINISHED BUSINESS 5. RESOLUTION 66 -1 ZONE VARIANCE CASE NO. 33 Attorney Brown read Resolution 66 -1 in full. (MO) It was moved by Commissioner Kunz, seconded by Commissioner Buchanan, to adopt Resolution 66 -1. RESOLUTION 66 -2 ZONE VARIANCE CASE NO. 34 Attorney Brown read Resolution 66 -2 by Title Only. (MO) It was moved by Commissioner Pike, seconded by Commissioner Kunz, and unanimously carried (Commissioner Holmes:abstain) that further reading be waived and that Resolution 66 -2 be adopted. 7. PLOT PLAN NO. 230 Gaetano Magno 4517 N. Delta Street (MO) It was moved by Commissioner Holmes, seconded by Commissioner Pike that Plot Plan No. 230 be approved with the following changes and conditions: (1) That the applicant submit 5 copies of revised plans substan- tially as indicated on Exhibit " A " and indicating the garage for the front parcel be I foot from the southerly property line and 4 feet off the westerly property line, and the garage opening and guest parking be located on the northerly side of said garage; with a 20 foot setback from the southerly edge of the common driveway to the north side of said garage. (2) That the utility lines (sewer, gas, b water) for the rear parcel shall be located under the common driveway. (3) The existing house on the front parcel shall be safety checked by the City Engineer and the property be improved as required to meet minimum safety standards. Said existing house shall be reconditioned and painted as indicated by the approval on the plot plan. (4) The applicant shall, indicate on the revised plot plans, and shall, in addition, submit a Declaration of Maintenance Agreement (5) That sidewalks shall be installed to City standards and a street tree planted; (6) Surface water drainage on the subject property shall be in accordance with a system or systems approved by the City Engineer. (7) All standard conditions that apply..
