M. in the City Hall Council Chambers, 3018 Charlotte Avenue, Rosemead. 1. CALL TO ORDER The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Commissioner Pike. The Invocation was delivered by Commissioner Holmes. 2. ROLL CALL: 3, 4 Present: Commissioners, Holmes, Larson, Pike Absent: Commissioners, O'Hagan, Taylor Exofficio: Director of Planning - Al Hersh City Attorney - Bob Joehnck Secretary - Jennie Brown APPROVAL OP MINUTES: Minutes of FEBRUARY 21, 1967 - Revised. Minutes of MARCH 7, 1967 Minutes of MARCH 14 1967 It was moved by Commissioner Holmes, second by Commissioner Larson, that the revised minutes of FEBRUARY 21, 1967 be approved as printed. Unanimously carried. Planning Director, Hersh informed the Commission that the date of the minutes should read March 7th, instead of March 21st. It was moved by Commissioner Larson, second by Comm- issioner Holmes, and unanimously carried, that the minutes stand approved as corrected. March 14, 1967 - Special meeting - It was moved by Commission- er Holmes, second by Commissioner Larson, that the minutes of the Special Meeting be approved as printed. Unanimously carried. TIME RESERVED FOR PERSONS WHO WISH TO ADDRESS THE COMMISSION? No Response. PUBLIC HEARING 5. ZONE VARIANCE CASE NO. 45 - Antique Auto Parts - Area east of 3016 Sullivan Avenue. Al Hersh, Director of Planning presented the factual data. The Public Hearing was opened at 8:00 P.M. by Commissioner Pike. Garvey, Rosemead, owner of the subject property answered questions pertaining to his request. paw �f3 S-0 It was moved by Commissioner second by commissioner Larson, the applicant -owner withdraw his request without prejudice and return at a later date with definite plans for future use of his property, meanwhile the violating misuse of the property for an unlawful junkyard be abated within the usual thirty day noti-e period required by law. UNFINISHED BUSINESS: 6. None. NEW BUSINESS: 7. PLOT PLAN NO. 277 - Division of Land - 3302 Delta Avenue-N.E. Corner Delta and Dorothy St. Planning Director, Hersh presented the factual data. John Schultz, contractor and Applicant, 9303 DeAdelena spoke on behalf of the owner. It was moved by Commissioner Holmes, second by Commissioner Larson, that Plot Plan No. 277 be approved subject to the following conditions: 1. The applicant shall submit a revised plot plan for approval of the Director of Planning and the property shall thereafter be developed substantially as indicated on the revised plot plan. 2. The property be otherwise developed in accordance with the applicable Planning Commissions standards and policies. 3. That necessary curbs, gutters, walks, street trees and driveways be installed prior to occupancy. 4. That applicant submit a Parcel Map for processing and approval as set out in the State Subdivision Map Act and the City Parcel Map Standards. 5. The proposed buildings shall not be sold or occupied prior to the approval and recordation of the required parcel map. 6. The standard conditions that apply. PLOT PLAN NO. 261 - Revised - Division of Land - through lot between Earle and Delta Avenue - 2436 & 2438 Delta and 2433 through 2443 Earle Avenue (5 lots). Planning Director, Her presented the factual data. It was moved by Commissioner Larson, second by Commissioner Holmes, that Plot Plan.No. 261 Revised be approved subject to the following conditions: 0 , v ' PC 3/21/67 Page 3 rI 1; The subject property shall be developed and maintained substantially as shown on the plot plan marked Exhibit "A" Plot Plan 261 Revised; 2. The applicant and owner shall submit a Parcel Map to the City Engineer as required andset forth in the State Subdivision Map Act, and shall pay required processing and recordation fees. 3. The subject property shall otherwise be developed in conformity with the Rosemead Zoning Ordinance requirements and all applicable Commission Standards and requirements; 4. The applicant -owner shall submit a signed affidavit of Acceptance of Conditions to the Planning Department and no further permits shall be issued until the receipt of this affidavit. Roll call vote as follows: AYES: Commissioners: Holmes, Larson, Pike NOES: Commissioners: None ABSENT: Commissioners: O'Hagan, Taylor LEGISLATIVE UNFINISHED BUSINESS: 9; Service Station Ordinance - Bob Joehnck, City Attorney, informed the Commission that he would present a draft of the proposed Service Station Ordinance at the next Planning Commission meeting on April 4; 1967. NEW BUSINES 10; An ordinance was submitted by Attorney, Bob Joehnck pertaining to the clearing of public parkways to permit pedestrians to walk on public rights -of way and not in the street, Commissioner Holmes recommended the Proposed Ordinance be reviewed by the staff and the City Attorney and any recommendations or changes be submitted to the Planning Commission at the meeting of April 4, 1967. MATTERS FROM COMMISSION AND STAFF 11. Plot Plan No. 278, a request to relocate a house on Gladys ,Avenue was submitted to the Commission Relocation Committee for consideration and a report; to be presented at the next meeting of the Commission on April 4 1967; Commissioner Larson was appointed by Chairman Pike to serve on the Relocation Committee with Commissioner Holmes. Chairman Pike reminded the Commissioners of the study session set for Thursday March 23, 1967, in the City Council Chambers at 7:30 P.M, to continue the review of the Subdivision Ordin- ande with Consultant Larry Wise; Adjournment: Meeting was adjourned at 9:15 P by Commissioner Pike.
