PC - 1969 - 17 - Reccommending to the City Council of the City of Rosemead that Certain Property, Zone Change No. 39, be Changed from P Zone to C-3 Zone and R-1 Zone to P Zone• CITY OF ROSEMEAD 0 RESOLUTION NO. 69 -17 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD RECOMMENDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD THAT CERTAIN PROPERTY, ZONE CHANGE NO. 39, BE CHANGED FROM P ZONE TO C -3 ZONE AND R -1 ZONE TO P ZONE. THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The Planning Commission does hereby find and determine t a�i t an application was duly filed by Murray and Betty Zwick with respect to real property described as follows: (1) P to C -3: That portion of Lot 2, Block 6, Rosemead, M.B. 21- 114/115 described as follows: Beginning at a point on the east line of Ivar Avenue 155 feet south of the south line of Valley Boulevard; thence southerly along the east line of ivar Avenue a distance of 113.09 feet with a uniform depth of 174.99 feet N. 87 40' 1 5 " E. (2) R -1 to P: That portion of Lot 2, Block 6, Rosemead, M.B. 21- 114/115 described as follows: Beginning at a point on the north line of Nevada Avenue 175 feet east of the east line of Ivar Avenue; thence easterly on said north line a distance of 160.29 feet with a uniform depth of 140 feet more or less N. Oo 59' 10" W. and otherwise known as 3950 N. Ivar Avenue, and 8921, 8925 and 8931 East Nevada Avenue; requesting a change of zone from P (Automobile Parking) Zone to C -3 (Medium Commercial) Zone and R -1 (Single Family Residential) Zone to P (Automobile Parking) Zone; that a public hearing was duly set for Tuesday, October 21, 1969, at 7:30 P.M. at the City Ha 1, 8838 Valley Boulevard, Rosemead, California, and a notice of the time, date, place and purpose of aforesaid hearing was duly given; that a hearing was duly held at the aforementioned time and place. Section 2. The Planning Commission further finds and deter- mines that act is To exist as required by Section 9125 and 9126 et seq. of the Ordinances of the City of Rosemead justifying a granting of the change of zone, and that the general welfare will be served and good zoning practices will be followed if the requested zone change is approved.
