PC - 1969 - 16 - Granting a Zone Variance (Case No. 64) and a Conditional Use Permit: Case No. 30CITY OF ROSEMEAD RESOLUTION NO. 69 -16 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD GRANTING A ZONE VARIANCE (CASE NO. 64) AND A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT: CASE NO. 30 THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The Planning Commission does hereby find and determine t aTi t an application was duly filed by the Pacific Telephone and Telegraph Company, with respect to real property described as follows: The West one half of Lot 27 of Fairview Heights Tract, in the City of Rosemead, County of Los Angeles, State of California, as per map recorded in Book 6 pages 114 and 115 of Maps, in the office of the County Recorder of said County. EXCEPT the southerly 50 feet of said lot. ALSO EXCEPT the westerly 30 feet of said lot, now within Brighton Street, 60 feet wide. ALSO EXCEPT the northerly 20 feet of said lot, now within Garvey Avenue, 100 feet wide. requesting a Zone Variance and a Conditional Use Permit on property in the C -3 (Medium Commercial) and P (Automobile Parking) Zones to permit: Establishment of a second floor public utility addition to an existing telephone communications building, with less than required off- street parking. that a public hearing was duly set for Tuesday, July 15, 1969 at 7 :30 P.M. at the City Hall, 8838 Valley Boulevard, Rosemead, California, and a notice of the time, date, place and purpose of aforesaid hearing was duly given; that a hearing was duly held at the aforementioned time and place. Section 2. The Planning Commission further finds and deter- mines that ac�st as required by Section 9124 and 9126 et seq. of the Ordinances of the City of Rosemead justifying a granting of the Zone Variance and the Conditional Use Permit. Section 3. The Planning Commission further finds: That the proposed development would not be detrimental to the health, safety and welfare of the surrounding neighborhood. Section 4. Based on the aforementioned findings the Commission are ggrants a variance and a conditional use permit with respect to that property described in Section 1 of this resolution, subject to the conditions attached hereto. Section 5. This action shall become final and effective after ten 0 ays after this decision by the Planning Commission unless within such time a written appeal is filed with the City Clerk for consideration by the Rosemead City Council as provided in the Zoning Ordinance. 69-16 Page Two Section 6.
