PC - 1969 - 14 - Granting a Zone Variance: Case No. 63• CITY OF ROSEMEAD RESOLUTION NO. 69 -14 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD GRANTING A ZONE VARIANCE: CASE NO. 63. THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The Planning Commission does hereby find and determine t aiat an application was duly filed by the Schultz Brothers Construction Company, with respect to real property described as follows: That portion of Lot 19, of Tract No. 3706, in the City of Rosemead, County of Los Angeles, State of California, as per Map Recorded in Book 40, Page 39 of maps, in the Office of the County Recorder of said county described as follows:' Beginning at the Intersection of the N'ly line of said Lot 19, with the Southeasterly,boundary of that cer- tain 60 foot strip of land described in Parcel 1 of deed to the County of Los Angeles, for Rockhold Avenue, Recorded as document No. 952 on September of said county; thence No 07' 0011 Recors said Northerly line 129.88 feet to the Northeasterly corner of said Lot 19; 6hence along the E'stly line of said Lot 19, South 1 05' 50 East 90.00 feet to a line that is parallel with and Distant Southerly 90.00 feet from said Northerly line; thence westerly along said parallel line to said Southeasterly boundary; thence Northeasterly along said Southeasterly boundary to the Point of Beginning. requesting a Zone Variance, on property in the R -2 (Light Multiple Residential) Zone to permit: Minor division of land into three lots from a parcel of land assembled by purchase of an undersized triangular shaped lot with street frontage, and an oversized lot with an existing dwelling and only 12 feet of street frontage via an approximately 12 foot wide driveway, the property requested to be divided into three parcels, two parcels in accordance with City regulations and the third parcel to remain as it exists except for a reduction in area to an area greater than required but less than twice the required area. that a public hearing was duly set for Tuesday, July 1, 1969 at 7:30 P.M. at the City Hall, 8838 Valley Boulevard, Rosemead, California, and a notice of the time, date, place and purpose of aforesaid hearing was duly given; that a hearing was duly held at the aforementioned time and place. 69 -14 Page Two Section 2. That the proposed division would not be detrimental to the surrounding area. Section 4. Based on the aforementioned findings the Com- mission hereFy grants a variance with respect to that property described in Section 1 of this resolution, subject "to the conditions attached hereto. Section 5. This action shall become final and effective after ten (10) days�r this decision by the Planning Commission unless with- in such time a written appeal is filed with the City Clerk, for consi- deration by the Rosemead City Council as provided in the Zoning Ordinance. Section 6. The Secretary shall certify to the adoption of this resolution shall transmit copies of same to the applicant and the Rosemead City Clerk. ADOPTED AND APPROVED This 1st day of July, 1969.
