PC - 1969 - 08 - Recommending to the City Council of the City of Rosemead that Certain Property, Annexation No. 36, be Changed from A-1 to R-1CITY OF ROSEMEAD RESOLUTION NO. 69 -8 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD RECOMMENDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD THAT CERTAIN PROPERTY, ANNEXATION NO. 36, BE CHANGED FROM A -1 TO R -1. THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The Planning determine t at request of Joseph Commission initiated a request for property described as follows: Commission does hereby find and A. and Dennis Lomenzo the Planning a zone change with respect to real That portion of Lot 45 of Tract No. 701, within the unincorporated area of the County of Los Angeles, State of California, as shown on a map filed in Book 16, pages 110 and 111 of Maps in the office of the County Recorder of said County, described as follows: Beginning at the intersection of the easterly line of the land described in deed to N. Budd Nath et ux., recorded in Book D1479, page 9 of Official Records in the office of said recorder, with that certain curve in the southwesterly line of the 60.00 foot strip of land described in Parcel 1 of the deed to the State of California recorded in Book D3393, page 670 of Official Records in the office of said recorder, said certain curve being concave southwesterly and having a radius of 220.00 feet; thence southeasterly alongg said curve from a tangent which bears South 78 34' 14 East, thrmh an angle of 45 25' 11 an arc distance of 174.40 feet to a reverse curve in said south- westerly line, concave northeasterly and having a radius of 330.00 feet; thence southeasterly along said reverse curve to the southerly line of said Lot 45; thence leaving said southwesterly line and along said southerly line South 89 35' 38" West to said easter.ly line; thence along said easterly line North 0 25' 47" West to the point of beginning. the requested change of zone being from A -1 (Light Agricultural) to R -1 (Single Family Residential); that a public hearing was duly set for Tuesday, May 20, 1969 at 7:30 P.M. at the City Hall, 8838 Valley Boulevard, Rosemead, California, and a notice of the time, date, place and purpose of aforesaid hearing was duly given; that a hearing was duly held at the aforementioned time and place. Section 2. The Planning Commission further finds and determines tFa do exist as required by Section 9125 and 9126 et seq. of the Ordinances of the City of Rosemead justifying a granting of the change of zone, and that the general welfare will be served and good zoning practices will be followed if the requested zone change is approved. - 69 -8 Page Two Section 3. The Planning Commission further finds: 1. That the proposed zone change would be in basic accord with the adopted General Plan of the City of Rosemead. Section 4. The Secretary shall certify to the adoption of this reso ut io and shall transmit copies of same to the applicant and the Rosemead City Clerk.
