PC - 1969 - 06 - Recommending to the City Council of the City of Rosemead that Certain Property, Zone Change No. 3. be Changed from A-1 to P-DCITY OF ROSEMEAD RESOLUTION NO. 69 -6 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD RECOMMENDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD THAT CERTAIN PROPERTY, ZONE CHANGE NO. 36, BE CHANGED FROM A-] to P -D . THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The Planning Commission does hereby find and determine'Tn application was duly filed by the Narramore Christian Foundation with respect to real property described as follows: PARCEL L. - That certain real property in the Rancho Potrero Grande, County of Los Angeles, State of California, described as follows: Lot Thirty -four (34) and the South Twenty (20) feet of the North Four and Four Hundred Thirty -seven Thousandth (4.437) acres of Lot Thirty -three (33) of Tract Number 701 as per map recorded in Book 16, pages 110 and 111 of Maps, in the office of the County Recorder of said County. PARCEL 2 - That certain real property in the Rancho Potrero Grande, County of Los Angeles, State of California described as follows: All that portion of lot 33, Tract 701, Rancho Potrero Grande, as per map recorded in Book 16 pp. 110 and 111, of Map of Los Angeles County Records, described as follows. viz : - Beginning at a point in the Westerly line of said Lot 33, 333, 614 feet Northerly from the South- westerly corner of said Lot 33 thence Easterly parallel to the Southerly line of said lot, 622.85 feet to the Easterly line of said lot, thence Northerly 20 feet, thence westerly 622.85 feet, thence Southerly 20 feet to point of beginning. Otherwise known as 1409 Walnut Grove Avenue, Rosemead, California; requesting a change of zone from A -1 (Light Agricultural) to P -D (Planned Development) that a public hearing was duly set for Tuesday, April 15, 1969 at 7:30 P.M. at the City Hall, 8838 Valley Boulevard, Rosemead, California, and a notice of the time, date, place and purpose of aforesaid hearing was duly given; that a hearing was duly held at the aforementioned time and place. Section 2. The Planning Commission further finds and determines tt a_tt__f"a_c_ts do exist as required by Section 9125 and 9126 et seq. of the Ordinances of the City of Rosemead justifying a granting of the change of zone, and that the general welfare will be served and good zoning practices will be followed if the requested zone change is approved. Section 3. The Planning Commission further finds: 1. That the requested zone change would be in accord with the adopted General Plan of the City of Rosemead; and, 2. That the requested zone change would be compatible with surrounding developments. 69-0 - 2- Section 4. The Secretary shall certify to the adoption of this resolutio a shall transmit copies of same to the applicant and the Rosemead City Clerk.
