PC - 1969 - 05 - Recommending to the City Council of the City of Rosemead that Certain Property, Zone Change No. 35, be Changed from R-1 to M-1CITY OF ROSEMEAD RESOLUTION NO. 69-5 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD RECOMMENDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD THAT CERTAIN PROPERTY, ZONE CHANGE NO. 35, BE CHANGED FROM R- I to M-1 THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The Planning Commission does hereby find and determined awn application was duly filed by the Vitachrome Corporation with respect to real property described as follows: That portion of Lot 5, Tract No. 830, M.B. 16 -117 per records of County of Los Angeles, described as follows: Beginning at the intersection of the south line of said lot 5 with the east line of Stingle Avenue (60 ft. wide); thence east on said south line 229 ft.; thence north to a point southerly 537.5 ft. from the south line of Garvey Aver:; thence westerly parallel with the south line of said lot 5 to the east line of Stingle Ave.; thence southerly along said east line of Stingle Ave., 73.53 ft. to the point of beginning; otherwise known as 2704 Stingle Avenue, Rosemead, California; requesting a change of zone from R -1 (Single Family Residential) to M -1 (Light Manufacturing); that a public hearing was duly set for Tuesday, April 1, 1969, at 7:30 P.M. at the City Hall, 8838 Valley Boulevard Rosemead, California, and a notice of the time, date, place and purpose of aforesaid hearing was duly given; that a hearing was duly held at the aforementioned time and place. Section 2. The Planning Commission further finds and determines tests do exist as required by Section 9125 and 9126 et seq. of the Ordinances of the City of Rosemead justifying a granting of the change of zone, and that the general welfare will be served and good zoning practices will be followed if the requested zone change is approved. . Section 3• The Planning Commission further finds: That the proposed zone change would be in accord with the adopted General Plan of the City of Rosemead. 2. That the proposed zone change would not be detrimental to the surrounding neighborhood. Section 4.
