RESOLUTION NO. 69-4
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF ROSEMEAD GRANTING A ZONE VARIANCE:
CASE NUMBER 61.
- THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Planning Commission does hereby find
and determTn a Fat an application was duly filed by Michael H.
Winkler, with respect to real property described as follows:
Lots 27, 28 and 29, Tract No. 7284, M.B. 97 -40/41 as per records
of Los Angeles County;
otherwise known at 3119 North San Gabriel Boulevard, Rosemead,
California;
requesting a Zone Variance, on property in the C -3 (Medium Commercial:
Zone to permit:
continuance of an existing business, retail furniture - new, in an
existing building, with less than required parking, and to allow an
existing unlawfully established roofed area attached to the southwest
corner of the existing building to remain and to be enclosed in accord
with the City, Code regulations, with such upgrading and in-
crease of parking is possible on the site;
that a public hearing was duly set for March 18, 1969 at 7:30 P.M.
at the City Hall, 8838 Valley Boulevard, Rosemead, California, and
a notice of the time, date, place and purpose of aforesaid hearing was
duly given; that a hearing was duly held at the aforementioned time
and place.
Section 2. The Planning Commission further finds and deter-
mines that facts exist as required by Section 9124 and 9126 et seq.
of the Ordinances of the City of Rosemead Justifying a granting of the
Zone Variance.
Section 3. The Planning Commission further finds:
1. That the proposed development is in accord with the
adopted General Plan of the City of Rosemead;
2. That the proposed development would not detrimentally
affect the health, safety and welfare of the sur-
rounding area.
Section 4. Based on the aforementioned findings the Com-
mission here - 6y grants a variance with respect to that property described
in Section 1 of this-resolution, subject to the conditions attached
hereto.
Section 5. This action shall become final and effective
after ten 0 ays after this decision by the Planning Commission
unless within such time a written appeal is filed with the City
Clerk, for consideration by the Rosemead City Council as provided
in the Zoning Ordinance.

Section 6. The Secretary shall certify to the adoption
of this resoTio and shall transmit copies of same to the appli-
cant and the Rosemead City Clerk.
