PC - 1968 - 14 - Denying a Conditional Use Permit: Case Number 25CITY-OF ROSEMEAD RESOLUTION NO. 68 -14 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD DENYING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT: CASE NUMBER 25. THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The Planning Commission does hereby find and determine' tin application was duly filed by Foster and Kleiser, with respect to real property described as follows: Lots 48 and 49, Tract No. 5785, as shown on maps recorded in Map Book 63, page 90 in the Office of the Recorder of the County of Los Angeles; otherwise described as 7444 East Garvey Avenue; requesting a Conditional Use Permit, on property in the C -3 (Medium Commercial) Zone to permit: construction and maintenance of a single faced outdoor advertising structure having a sign face measuring 12 feet by 25 feet, a height from ground to base of 23 feet, to be located parallel to the west property line with setback ofthree and one -half feet from the south line of Garvey Avenue; that a public hearing was duly set for Tuesday, October 1, 1968 at 7:30 P.M. at the City Hall, 8838 Valley Boulevard, Rosemead, California and a notice of the time, date; place and purpose of the aforementioned time and place. Section 2. The Planning Commission further finds and determines t aTi Meets do not exist as required by Section 9124 and 9125 et seq. of the Ordinances of the City:of Rosemead justifying a granting of the Conditional Use Permit. Section 3. The Planning Commission further finds: 1. The proposed development would not be in the best - interest of the surrounding area. • . I 2. The proposed development would be a traffic hazard in the area. 3. The proposed development.would not be in accord with the City beautification_ movement. Section 4. Based on. the aforementioned findings the Commission er_eby�enies a Permit-with respect to that property described in Section 1 of this resolution. Section 5. This action shall become final and effective after ten ays after this decision by the Planning Commission unless within such time a written appeal is filed with the City Clerk, for consideration by the Rosemead City Council as provided in the Zoning Ordinance. Section 6.
