RESOLUTION NO. 68 -12
A RESOLUTION "OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF ROSEMEAD GRANTING A ZONE VARIANCE:
CASE NUMBER° 56.
THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Planning Commission does hereby find
and determine T that an application was duly filed by Mr. Roy
Nakagawa, with respect to real property described as follows:
Tract #3360 Lot Com. W. on S. line of Lot 2, 110.40
ft. and N. 2 0 21' 45" W. 64.23 ft. and NE on a curve
concave to NW radius equals 35 ft. 29.89 ft. from
SE corner of SD Lot TH S. 51 17' 55" E. 17.14 ft.
TH N. 87 40' 15 " E. 71 ft. to E. line of SD Lot
TH N. thereon 80 ft. TH S. 87 40' 15" W. to a point
N. on a curve concave to W. radius equals omitted
portion in assessors map book, portion Lot 2, Code
Area 8218, page 5390, page 11, parcel 37 as shown
on a map filed in the office of the Los Angeles
County Recorder;
otherwise described at 8754 Steele Street, City of Rosemead;
requesting a Zone Variance, on property in the R -1 (Single Family
Residential) Zone to permit:
an existing incompleted residential structure pene-
trating required side and rear yard areas, with im-
paired parking area in the required garage; to be
completed, within a reasonable length of time, sub-
stantially as the building is now layed out.
that a public hearing was duly set for Tuesday, June 18, 1968,
at 7:30 P.M. at the City Hall, 8838 Valley Boulevard Rosemead,
California, and a notice of the time, date, place and purpose of
aforesaid hearing was duly given; that a hearing was duly held
at the aforementioned time and place.
Section 2. The Planning Commission further finds and
determines thaws exist as required by Section 9124 and 9126
et, seq, of the Ordinances of the City of Rosemead justifying a
granting of the Zone Variance.
Section 3. The Planning Commission further finds:
1. That conditions assure the grant would not be inconsistent
with limitations on similar properties in the neighborhood.
2. That the granting of the variance would not be detrimental
to the public health or welfare and is beneficial to tle
properties and improvements in the vicinity.
3. That special circumstances with regard to the site and
development requests the variance to allow completion of
the development.
4. That the grant is in basic accord with the General Plan
of the City of Rosemead.

Section 4. Based on the aforementioned findings the
Commission eri�e y grants a variance with respect to that property
described in Section 1 of this resolution, subject to the conditions
attached hereto.
Section 5. This action shall become final and effective
after ten ays after this decision by the Planning Commission
unless within such time a written appeal is filed with the City
Clerk, for consideration by the Rosemead Council as provided
in the Zoning Ordinance.
Section 6. The Secretary shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution on and shall transmit copies of same to the appli-
cant and the Rosemead City Clerk.
ADOPTED AND APPROVED This 18th day prf June, 1968.
