PC - 1968 - 05 - Granting a Conditional Use Permit: Case NUmber 19CITY OF ROSEMEAD RESOLUTION NO. 68 -5 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD GRANTING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT: CASE NUMBER 19 THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The Planning Commission does hereby find and determine -7 THat an application was duly filed by the Alhambra Junior Chamber of Commerce, with respect to real property described as follows: Lot 1, excluding therefrom the Westerly 130 feet of the Southerly 160 feet; Lot 2; Lot 3, excluding therefrom the Easterly 185 feet, and Lot 4, ex- cluding therefrom the Easterly 185 feet; and also excluding from Lot 2 and 4 those portions of said lots lying Southerly of the Northerly boundary of the adjoining San Bernardino Freeway; all said lots in Block 9, Rosemead Tract Map Book 21, Pages 114 and 115, in the City of Rosemead; requesting a Conditional Use Permit, on property in the C -3 (Medium Commercial) Zone to permit: the Alhambra Junior Chamber of Commerce to set up and operate a three day carnival from March 27 through March 31, 1968, on the paved parking area south of the Montgomery Ward department store north of the San Bernardino Freeway. that a public hearing was duly set for Tuesday, March 19, 1968, at 7:30 P.M. at the City Hall, 3018 North Charlotte Avenue, Rosemead California, and a notice of the time, date, place and purpose of aforesaid hearing was duly given; that a hearing was duly held at the aforementioned time and place. Section 2. The Planning Commission further finds and determines that facts exist as required by Section 9124 and 9126 et seq. of the Ordinances of the City of Rosemead justifying a granting of the Conditional Use Permit. Section 3. The Planning Commission further finds: 1. that the requested carnival would not be harmful or detrimental to the surrounding area Section 4. Based on the aforementioned findings the Commission here y�denies a Permit with respect to that property described in Section 1 of this resolution, subject to the conditions attached hereto. Section 5. This action shall become final and effective after ten days after this decision by the Planning Commission unless within such time a written appeal is filed with the City Clerk, for consideration by the Rosemead City Council as provided in the Zoning Ordinance. 68 -5 .
