PC - 1968 - 04 - Granting a Conditional Use Permit: Case Number 180 CITY OF ROSEMEAD RESOLUTION NO. 68 -4 0 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD GRANTING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT: CASE NUMBER 18. THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The Planning Commission does hereby find and determine that an application was duly filed by the First Baptist Church of South San Gabriel DBA Hellman Avenue Baptist Church, with respect to real property described as follows: Lot commences at SW corner of Lot #8 TR # 11444, Thence N 89 43' 2 5 " E 218.32' Thence N 8° 27' W 126.64' Thence N 59 35' 20" W 153.87' Thence N_0 33' 50" W 203.01' Thence S 89 11' 40 W 136.86' Thence S'-0 34' E 150.00 Thence N 89 11' 40" E 17.03' Thence S 0 34' E 129.30' Thence E to NW corner of said lot Thence S 127.89' to beginning point of lots 59 & 60 lands of ommitted portion in Assessors M.B. all of Lot 8 Tract 11444 requesting a Conditional Use Permit, on property in the R -2 (Light Multiple Residential) Zone to permit: the existing church facility of the Hellman Avenue Baptist Church to be expanded and altered to add a two store education building and a one story fellowship hall behind the existing sanctuary; that a public hearing was duly setfor Tuesday, March 19, 1968, at 7:30 P.M. at the City Hall, 3018 North Charlotte Avenue, Rose- mead, California, and a notice of the time, date, place and pur- pose of aforesaid hearing was duly given; that a hearing was duly held at the aforementioned time and place. Section 2. The Planning Commission further finds and determines tha�cts exist as required by Section 9124 and 9126 et seq, of the Ordinances of the City of Rosemead justifying a granting of the Conditional Use Permit. Section 3. The Planning Commission further finds: 1. that the development would be in keeping with the General Plan of the area; 2. that the development would benefit the general welfare of the surrounding neighborhood; 3. that the development would be consistent with good planning policies. Section 4. Based on the aforementioned findings the Commission hereby grants a Permit with respect to that property described in Section 1 of this resolution, subject to the conditions attached hereto. 68 -4 • • Page 2 Section 5. This action shall become final.and effective after ten 0 days after this decision by the Planning Commission unless within such time a written appeal is filed with the City Clerk, for consideration by the Rosemead City Council as provided in the Zoning Ordinance. Section 6. The Secretary shall certify to the adoption of this reso tion uu and shall transmit copies of same to the appli- cant and the Rosemead City Clerk.
