A RESOLUTION.OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF ROSEMEAD GRANTING A CONDITIONAL USE..
PERMIT: CASE NUMBER 17.
THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Planning Commission does hereby find
and determine thataan application was duly filled by the City of
Monterey Park, with respect to real property described as follows:
That portion of Lot A, Tract 3260, in the County of
Los Angeles, State of California as per map recorded
in Book 34, page 21, in the Office of the County
Recorder of said County;'described as follows:
"Beginning-at the northeasterly cornero° said Lot A;
said corner also bein a paint in the centerline
of Klingerman Street ?formerly known as Short Street),
60.feet, wide, as-'show ' n on Tract 14146 recorded in
Book 3.10, Page 27 in the Office of the County Re-
corder.of said County; thence southwesterly along
the easterly line of Lot A to a point in the
southerly right -of -way line of said Klingerman
Street,:said.point being the true point of begin-
ning - for.this description; thence continuing south-
westerly along easterly lot line a distance
of 320.00 feet; thence northwesterly along a line
at.right angles to said easterly lot line a dis-
tance of 100.00 feet; thence northeasterly along a
line parallel to said easterly lot line to a point
in said southerly right -of -way line of Klingerman
Street; thence easterly along.said southerly right -
of -way line to the true.point of beginning ".
requesting a Conditional Use Permit, on property in the A -1
(Light Agricultural) Zone to permit:
Establishment of a municipal water well to
supplement the established water supply for the
City of Monterey Park
that a public, hearing was duly set for Tuesday, January 16, 1968,
at 7:30 P.M. at the City Hall, 3018 North Charlotte, Rosemead,
California, and a notice of the time, date, place and purpose of
aforesaid hearing was duly given; that a hearing was duly held
at the aforementioned time and place.
Section 2. The Planning Commission further finds and
determines that facts exist as required by Section 9124 and 9126
et seq. of the Ordinances of the City of Rosemead justifying a
granting of Conditional Use Permit.
Section 3. The Planning Commission further finds:
1. That the proposed use is in basic accord with the
General Plan for the area.
2. That the proposed use is necessary for the well
being of the citizens of.the City of Monterey Park
and a use compatible with the surrounding area
!in the City of Rosemead.
Section 4. Based on the aforementioned findings the
Commission hereE — grants a Permit with respect to that property
described in Section 1 of this resolution, subject to the conditions
attached hereto.
Section 5. This action shall become final and effective
after ten 0 days after this decision by the Planning Commission
unless within such time a written appeal is filed wi.th the City
Clerk, for consideration by the Rosemead City Council as provided
in the Zoning Ordinance.
Section 6. The Secretary shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution and shall transmit copies of same to the appli-
cant and the Rosemead City Clerk.
