A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF ROSEMEAD GRANTING A ZONE VARIANCE:
CASE NUMBER 51,
THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section l: The Planning Commission,does hereby find
and determine that an application was duly filed by James K..Graham,
with respect to real property described as follows:
Lot 26, of the Andover Tract, in the County of Los
Angeles, State of California, as per map recorded
in book 21, page 155 of maps, in the Office of the
County Recorder.
EXCEPTING therefrom the North 50 feet'thereof;
and otherwise described at 3309 North Stevens Avenue
requesting a Zone Variance, on property in the R -2 (Light Multiple
Residential) Zone to permit:
the division of a parcel into two equal lots; each,
to contain in excess of the required area; the
existing structures to be removed and the property
proposed to be developed with a triplex residence,
not otherwise permitted, on each lot:
that a.public hearing was duly set for October 3, 1967 at 7:30
P.M. at the City Hall, 3018 North Charlotte Avenue, Rosemead,
, California, and a notice of the time, date, place and purpose of
aforesaid hearing was duly given; that a hearing was duly held
at the aforementioned ti'me.and place.
Section 2. The Planning,Commission further finds and
determines that facts„ exist.as,required by Section 9124 and 9126
et seq, of the Ordinances.of the City of Rosemead justifying a
granting of the Zone Variance.
Section 3. The Planning Commission further finds:
•.l. That the proposed development is in accord with the
General Plan Land Use Element adopted by the
Planning Commission,
2. That the development would not be incompatible p
with the denisty of development in the surrounding
area.
Section 4..,Based ori.the aforementioned findings the
Commission hereby grants a'variance with respect-to that property
described-in Section 1 of this resolution, subject to the conditions
attached hereto.
Section 5. This action shall become final and effective
after ten. -OT days after this decision by the Planning Commission
unless within such time a written appeal is filed with the City
Clerk, for.consideration by the Rosemead City Council as provided
in the Zoning Ordinance.
Section 6. The Secretary shall certify to the adoption
of this reso u t on and shall transmit copies of same to the appli-
cant and the Rosemead City Clerk.
