CITY OF ROSEMEAD
LOS ANGELES COUNTY, CALIFORNIA
RESOLUTION NO. 67 -3
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD, ADOPTING THE
LAND USE ELEMENT OF THE GENERAL PLAN.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Department and City
Planning Commission have prepared a general plan report
together with a general plan map and have prepared the
land. use - .element thereof and did all things legally and
technically required by law to develop a- report and map
adequate in scope and authority to serve the purposes
of a general plan; and
WHEREAS, the land use element of the said gen-
eral plan report and map has been coordinated with si-
milar plans for adjoining cities and for Los Angeles
County; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Government Code Section
65350.et. seq. the City Planning Commission gave required
notice and did hold public hearings for the purpose of
considering the adoption of the land use element of the
said general plan report and map, and at which public
hearings the land use element and report and map were
displayed, explained and reported upon; and
WHEREAS, said general plan report and map and
the land use element thereof are necessary for sound fu-
ture community development, the preservation of community
values, and the promotion'of the general health, safety,
convenience and welfare of the citizens of Rosemead; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of
Rosemead has a responsibility to plan for the desirable
future growth and development of the City of Rosemead;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF ROSEMEAD DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1 . The Planning Commission of the City
of Rosemead does hereby find and determine that the pub-
lic interest, convenience and necessity require that the
land use element of the general plan report and map be
adopted.
Section 2 . The Planning Commission of the City
of Rosemead does hereby adopt the land use element of the
general plan as amended together with the maps and de
scriptive material which constitutes the land use element.
Section 3 . The Planning Commission Chairman is
authorized and directed to certify this approval upon the
said land use element of the general plan report and for-
ward to the City Council for consideration.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 21st day of
February, 1967.

resolution 67. -3 which was adopted by the Planning
Commission at its regular meeting on February 21st.
This resolution evidences the approval of the Planning
Commission to the land use portion of the proposed
master plan.
We are still awaiting the opportunity to
review resolutions 67 -1 and -2'' which relate to the
properties east and west of the Montgomery Ward develop-
ment. We would.appreciate the opportunity to review
these resolutions prior to the Council meeting scheduled
for February 28th.
