-HAVE CERTAIN TERRITORY WITHIN THE CITY OF ROSECr:EAD
INCLUDED WITHIN TtiE CONSOLIDATED FZRE PROTECTION

' URGENCY THEREOF
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Rosemead hereby
finds that said City has within it certain territory herein-
after described which is adjacent to but outside of the Con-
• solidated Fire Protection District of Loa Angeles County.

SECTION; The boundaries of said territory, which are
,:' entirely within the City of Rosemead, are described in the
attached legal description and contain less than one acre.
SECTION 4. The City Council of the City of Rosemead by and
on behalf of said City hereby requests the Los Angeles County
Board of Supervisors to include said territory within the
Consolidated Fire Protection District of Los Angeles County.

SECTION 4. This Ordinance is an urgency Ordinance necessary
`~~ for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health
or safety and therefore shall take effect immediately. The
,Pacts constituting such necessity area .
For the preservation and safeguarding of life '
and property the subject territory requires the
.. immediate services of the Consolidated Fire Pro-
tection District of Los Angeles County; '
In order to enable the City of Rosemead to take
advantage of Section 2167.1 of the California Revenue
and Taxation Code, it is necessary that this Ordinance
take effeci; immediately.

SECTION 5. The-City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this Ordinance and cause the same to be published or
posted in the manner required by law.
