Ordinance No. 389 - Relocation of Buildingsr ---tea ORDINANCE NO. 389 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD REGULATING THE RELOCATION OF BUILDINGS AND AMENDING THE MUNICIPAL CODE THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Part XXXIII of the Rosemead Municipal Code is amended to read as follows: RELOCATION OF BUILDINGS 9192. Approval. No existing building or structure • and no section of any such building or structure shall be moved to or relocated upon a site in the City of Rosemead without first obtaining the approval of the Rosemead Planning Commission. 9192.1. Permit Applications. Applications for approval by the Planning Commission shall be on forms prescribed by the Director of Planning and shall be filed with the Director of Planning. Such applications shall be accompanied by: (a) A plot plan showing the proposed location of the building or structure. (b)' Photographs not less than 5 inches by 7 inches showing all sides of such building or structure and.the general architectural design or appearance. i (c) Plans or drawings. showing any material alterations, repairs or other work proposed .to be carried out on the building or structure. after relocation. (d) An application fee of $75.00. (e) A permit granted by the Building and Safety Department pursuant to Section 301 of the Rosemead Building Code. 9192.2. Limitations on Permits. The Rosemead Planning Commission shall not approve an application to move any building or structure to, or to relocate the same upon, a site within the City of Rosemead unless such building or structure as relocated will fully comply with all provisions of the Rosemead Municipal Code. 9192.3. Inspections. In addition to any other inspection required by law, any member of the Planning Commission may travel. to and inspect any building or structure proposed to be relocated on a,site within the City of Rosemead. -1- 9192.4. Conditions, Bond. As a part of any re- location approval, the Planning Commission may establish conditions and requirements necessary to assure the satis- factory relocation and reconstruction of any building or structure within the City of Rosemead for which relocation approval is granted under this Part. The Planning Commission shall require a bond, not to exceed $10,000, as a part of any relocation approval to assure satisfactory completion of the relocation of the building or structure and satis- factory completion of any conditions,or requirements established by the Commission.
