As per our conversation, we went away and discussed how the project might make some compromises to meet some of the elected official's recent concerns. 1. A photo tour will take place to depict the new project and the adjoining property business sign visibility. This will be presented at the meeting on Tuesday. 2. My client has agreed to allow a six month period of concentrated efforts, following the execution of the Conditions / Agreement being considered at the Council meeting on Tuesday August 12'", in securing national franchises and or locally successful retail businesses who might wish to locate in the retail space available in the proposed project. My client will instruct his team to make this a high priority. 3. Based upon the number of questions brought up at our meeting regarding the viability of Mixed Use in Rosemead, my client is willing to contribute a one time contribution of $10,000.00 toward a comprehensive study conducted by the City for the future of Mixed Use projects. Thank you once again for your insights and input. I want to assure you that we took your guidance seriously and I hope that you see that in our responses back to you in the three issues above. If you have any questions, please feel free to give me a call. We are eager to meet on Tuesday and bring this project before the Council for a positive resolve. Looking forward, Michael Cc Rachel Richman, City Attny, BWS Michelle Ramirez, CDD City of Rosemead Simon Lee
