Ordinance No. 404 - Changing Zone of Certain PropertiesAN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ROSEI.9EAD CHANGING THE ZONE OF CERTAIN PROPERTY AND AMENDING THE ROSEMEAD MUNICIPAL CODE (ZONE CHANGE CASE NO. 75-75) THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That certain property in the City of Rosemead as shown on the map attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and more particularly described as follows: That certain parcel of land in the City of Rosemead, County of Los Angeles, State of California, being a portion of Lots 3, 4, 5, • 6 and 8 of Block 9 of Rosemead as per map recorded in Book 21, Pages 114 and 115 of Maps in the office of the Recorder of said County described as follows: Beginning at the centerline intersection of Marshall Street as shown on Map B-2496, Sheets .1 through 4 inclusive in the office of the County Surveyor of said County and the centerline of Hart Avenue, the Easterly line of said hart Avenue being the westerly line of the Easterly 185.00 feet of said Lots 3 and 4; thence Southerly along the centerline of Hart Avenue to the Northerly right of way of the San Bernardino Freeway LA 10 as shown on File I4ap No. 1857 in the office of the Engineer of District 7, State of California Division of • Highways; thence Easterly along said right of way line to the Southerly prolongation of the centerline of Rio Hondo Avenue as shown on said Map B-2496; thence Northerly along said pro- longation and centerline to the Easterly pro- longation of the Southerly boundary line of Tract 16922 as per map recorded in Book 444, Page 36 of Maps in the office of the Recorder of said County; thence.Westerly along said Southerly prolongation and said boundary line to the Southwest corner of said Tract No. 16922; thence Northerly along said Tract boundary to the intersection of a line parallel and Northerly 177.99 feet from the Southerly line of Lot 8, Block 9 of said Rosemead, as measured along the Westerly line of said Lot 8 from the Southwest corner thereof; thence along said _line, South 89° 10' 00" [Nest 54.60 feet; thence North 0° 28'. 45" West, 130.44 feet; thence South 89° 10' 00" [Vest,- 50.00 feet; thence North 0° 28' 45" hest, 29.47 feet; thence South 89° 10' 00" west, 115.99 feet to the common line of said Lots 6 and 8; thence Southerly alc.ng said line 75.50 feet, more or less, to the Northerly line of the Southerly -1- Y,9 262.50 feet of said Lot 6; thence Westerly along said line to the Easterly line of the westerly 375.52 feet of said Lot 6; thence Southerly along said line 62.50 feet, more.or less, to the Northerly line of the Southerly 200.00 feet of said Lot 6;' thence Westerly along said line to the Easterly line of the westerly 187.76 feet of said Lot 6; thence Northerly along said line to the centerline of Marshall Street; thence westerly along the. centerline of Marshall Street to the point_ of beginning; is hereby classified and zoned P-0-D. Section 2: The Zoning Map of the City of Rose- mead, as. adopted by Section 9103.1 of the Rosemead Municipal Code, is hereby amended by changing the classification of • the property hereinabove described to P-O-D and said map shall have noted thereon "Amended to z~ /p 1975." Section 3. That certain property in the City of Rosemead as shown on the map attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and more particularly described as follows: That certain parcel of land in the City of Rosemead, County of Los Angeles, State of California, being a portion of Lots 5, 6, 7 and 8 of Block 9 of Rosemead as per map .:ecorded in Book 21, Pages'114 and 115 of Maps in the office of the Recorder of said County described as follows: Beginning at the centerline intersection of • Marshall Street and Rio Hondo Avenue as shown on Map B-2496, Sheets 1 through 4 inclu- sive in the office of the County Surveyor of said County; thence Southerly along the center- line of Rio Hondo Avenue to the Easterly pro- longation of the Southerly boundary line of Tract No. 16922 as per map recorded in Book 444, Page 36 of Maps in the office of the Recorder of said County; thence westerly along said Southerly prolongation and boundary line to the Southwest corner of said Tract No. 16922; thence Northerly along said Tract boundary to the inter- section of a line parallel and Northerly 177.99 feet from the Southerly line of Lot 8, Block 9 of said Rosemead,-as measured along the Westerly line of said Lot 8 from the Southwest corner thereof; thence along said line South 89° 10' 00" West 54.60 feet; thence North 0° 28' 45" west, 130.44 feet; thence South 89° 10' 00" west, 50.00 feet; thence North 00 28' 45" west, 29.47 feet; thence South 89° 10' 00" west, 115.99 feet to the common line of said Lots 6 and 8; thence Southerly along said line 75.50 feet, more or less, to the Northerly line of the Southerly 262.50 feet of said Lot 6; thence westerly along -2- DzcP. ~/o ~ said line to the Easterly line of the 7esterly 375.52 feet of said Lot 6; thence Southerly along said line 62.50 feet, more or less, to the Northerly line of the Southerly 200.00 feet of said Lot 6; thence Westerly along said line to the Easterly line of the Westerly 187.76 feet of said Lot 6; thence Northerly along said line to the centerline of Marshall Street; thence Easterly along the centerline of Marshall Street to the point of beginning; 0 is hereby classified and zoned R-1. Section 4. The zoning Map of the Coty of Rose-- mead, as adopted by Section 9103.1 of the Rosemead Municipal Code., is hereby amended by changing the classification of the property hereinabove described in Section 3 to R-1 and said man shall have noted thereon "Amended to /Q, 1975." PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this JQ day of 111111 , 1975. Section 5.
