ORDINANCE.. NO. 508 .
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ROSEMEAD AMENDING SECTION 9202 OF THE ROSEMEAD
MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO SUB-DIVISION ORDINANCE
OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD
THE•CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY 'OF ROSEMEAD DOES ORDAIN:
SECTION 1. 'Section 9202 of'ahe Rosemead'n4unicipal Code
is hereby amended; to .add ,t he .following:

(A) Section 10.2 - LIST OF OWNERS With each filing '
of a tentative .map or parcel map,,,the subdivider
shall also file'a list; certfied'~to~be correct
by affidavit or~by a statement made under penalty
of perjury pursuant to Section 2015.5 of the Code
of. Civil"Rrocedure,'of ;the names and addresses of
all persons who are shown on'the~tatest assessment.

subject property and as owners of property•'within
a distance of 300 feet from the exterior boundaries
• of the area of. the proposed land division. The
subdivider shall also file a map, the number of
copies and. scale of which may be specified by the
Planning Commission of the City of Rosemead, which
shall indicate where-such ownerships are located.
Section 10.3 - NOTIFICATION. The Planning Depart-
ment of the City of Rosemead shall:
(a) cause notice of the filing of all tentative
maps.and'.parcel maps;to be published once in a
newspaper of general. circulation in the City of
Rosemead.
(b') cause notice of the filing of~all tentative
maps, whi.ch`if approved would require final tract
maps, to be' mailed by first class mail, postage'
prepaid,: to the subdi.vi.ders and to all persons whose
names appear on the verified lists of property owners
• required. to be submitted by the. subdivider.
Section 10.5 - POSTING. The subdivider shall cause
notice of the filing of all parcel maps for the divi-
sion of fpur or less parcels to be conspicuously.
posted on all boundary lines of the subject property
which front upon any street, highway or road. The
notices shall. be posted not more than three hundred
(;300) feet apart upon the portion of the property
nearest to a street, highway or road, or most likely
- to give actual' notice to interested persons, ahd
also in 'the same manner along the side. of the nearest
public street or highway. The notices shall contain
a statement,.in black face letters of not less than
one (1).nch high.: "Not,ce of~Parcel Map Filing'.'.
The notices shall describe the proposed division,
its dimensions 'and location, and state that a parcel
map has been filed for the property-and indicate
that interested persons may appeal any decision of
the Rosemead Planning Commission relating to its
assigned duties for approval of '.t he division, pursuant
to Los Angeles County Ordinance #4478, the Subdivi-
lion Ordinance. The notice shall also contain the
address and telephone number of the Planning Depart-
ment of the City of Rosemead and state that the De-
p,artment may be .contacted; for information about the
subdivision process. The subdivider shall thereafter
certify to the Department of Planning by affidavit
or by a statement made under penalty of perjury pur-
suant to .Section 2015.5 of the Code of Civil Proce-
dure that the provisions of this section have been
met . .'
