ORDINANCE N0. 211
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD CHANGING
THE ZONE OF CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM ZONES R-1 AND
M-1-D TO R-3-D AND AMENDING THE MUNICIPAL CODE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1, The following described property in the
City of Roseme~a -presently classified R-1 and M-1-D is reclassified
and zoned R-3-D:
That portion of Lot 8 of Richard Garveys Addition
No. 2, of the Tract known as the Garvey Ranch, in the City of
Rosemead, in the County of Los Anggeles, State of California, as
per map recorded in Book 70 Page 69 and 70 of Miscellaneous
Records, in the office of the County Recorder of said county,
described as follows: Beginnin~ at the intersection of the
Northerly line of Rush Street, 00 feet wide, as shown on the
map of Tract No. 7123, Recorded in Book 82 page 72 of maps, in
said office oa= the County Recorder, with the 4Jest Line of said
Lot 8; Thence along the Northerly line of said Rush Street, South
89°21'45" East 155.03 feet to the true point of beginning; Thence
i~Jorth 0°02'45" East 98.53 feet; thence South 39°21'45" East 2.20
feet; thence North 0°02'45" East 29.14 feet; thence North 89°21'
45" !;pest 2.20 feet; thence North 0°02'45" East 90.73 feet; thence
South 89°21'45" East 107.98 feet to a point in the East line of
the Land Described in the Deed recorded on February 16, 1950 as
Instrument No. 2563, in Book 32290 page 62, Official Records of
said County; thence .41ong said East line, North 0°02'45" East
151.11 feet to the Northeast corner of the Land described in said
deed; thence along the North line of the land described in said
deed; North 89°50'45" !Vest 263 feet to the ~!est line of said Lot
8., Thence along said west line, South 0°02'45" !Nest 212.05 feet
to a line parallel with and distant Northerly 155.23 feet .from
the Northerly line of said Rush Street; thence along said parallel
• line South 89°21'45" East 50 feet to the East line of the !hest 50
feet of said Lot 8; thence along.said last mentioned East line,
South 0°02'45" West 155.23 feet to said Nly line of Rush Street;
Thence along said Northerly tine, South 89°21'45" East 105.03 feet
to the True point of beginning. EXCEPT that portion of said land
lying Southerly o`r the !a%esterly Prolongation of that certain course.
hereinabove described as having a bearing and length of South 89°
21'45" East, 107.98 feet. Also that portion of Lot 8 of Richard
Garveys Addition No. 2, of the Tract known as the Garvey Ranch, in
the city of Rosemead, in the County of Los Angeles, State of Calif-
ornia, as per map recorded in book 70 page 69 and 70 of Miscellaneous
Records, in the Office of the County Recorder of said County, Desc-
ribed as follows:. Beginning at a point in the !lest line of said Lot
8, at the Southeast corner of Lot 127, as per map of Tract No. 7123,
recorded in Book 82 page 72 of maps, records of said County; them e
-along the Easterly prolongation of the i~orth line of Keim Street,
as shown on said map, south 89°50'45" East 263 feet thence North to.
a point. in the FJorth line of Lot 8, said point being distant Easterly
263 feet, more or less, from the Northwest corner of Lot 3; thence
Westerly and Southerly along the Northerly and Westerly lines of said
Lot 8 to the point of beginning.

Section 2. The hereinabove described property shall be
classified as Zone R-3-D on the official zoning map of the City of
Rosemead referred to in Section 9103.1 of the Municipal Code. The
Clerk is hereby directed to note on said map "Amended to "
and to insert in such blank the date of the adoption of this
ordinance.
