Brown Act
Pursuant to provisions of the Brown Act, no
action may be taken on a matter unless B is
listed on the agenda, or unless certain
emergency or special circumstances exist.
The City Council may direct staff to
investigate and/or schedule certain matters
for consideration at a future City Council
meeting.
Rules of Decorum
Persons attending the meeting shall observe
rules ofpropriety, decorum, good conduct,
and refrain from impertinent orslanderous
remarks. Violation of this rule shall result in
such persons being barred from further
audience before the governing body.
Pursuant to Gov. Code Sect. 54954.3(c),
anyperson who engages in unlawful
interference shall be removed from
chambers.

• Serve as a community 'think tank" and "information clearinghouse' on ways to prevent crime and to
combat drugs and alcohol abuse;
• Develop and promote positive and wholesome recreational activities and community service
opportunities for young people and their families;
• Coordinate Wth organizations that address human and social services needs to promote a healthy
community; and
• Promote and encourage emergency preparedness by all community members.
