ORDINANCE NO. 285
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ROSEMEAD APPROVING THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN
UNINHABITED TERRITORY DESIGNATED AS "ANNEXATION
NUMBER 38" TO THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD HEREBY ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, on January 28, 1970, the Local Agency Formation
Commission of the County of Los Angeles adopted a resolution
authorizing the City of Rosemead to conduct proceedings without
the Government Code, for the annexation of certain uninhabited
territory to the City of Rosemead; and,
WHEREAS, said territory is now and has heretofore been
designated as "Annexation No. 38".
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ROSEMEAD does hereby approve the annexation to the City of
Rosemead of the territory designed as "Annexation No. 38", and
as described in Exhibit "A", attached hereto and made a part
hereof, and does hereby orda.i:n that said territory be, and it
hereby is annexed to the City of Rosemead.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 24th day of February,
1970.

Recorder.of said County, within the following described
boundaries:
Beginning at, the intersection of the northerly line of said lot
with the westerly line of that certain parcel of land described
in deed to S. L. Denton et al, recorded as Document No. 603, on.
December 27, 1(?60, in Book D1074, page 219, of Official Records,
in the office of said Recorder; thence southerly along said
westerly line 130.54 feet to the northerly boundary of that
certain parcel of land, for Potrero Grando Drive, described as
Part A of Parcel 5-21X in Lis Pendens, recorded as Docuent
Nom. 3854, nn December 29, 1967, in Book M2741, page 109, of said
Official Records; thence easterly along said northerly boundary
54$.63 feet to the most westerly corner of that certain parcel
of land, fir Potrero Grande Drive, described as Part B of said
Parcel 5-21X: thence easterly, northeasterly and northerly along
the northerly, northwesterly and westerly boundaries of said last--
mentioned certain parcel of land a.distance of 48.62 feet to
