AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD CHANGING
THE ZONE OF CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM R-3 AND P TO
C-3-D.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD DOES HEREBY ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The following described property in the
City o R osemead presently classified R-3 and P is hereby
reclassified and zoned C-3-d.
The northerly 63.49 feet of that portion of Lot 2
in Block 6 of Rosemead, as per map recorded in Book 21,,
Pages 114 and 115 of Maps in the office of the County
Recorder of said County, described as follows: Begin-
ning at a point on the easterly line of said Lot 2,
217.80 feet south of the northeast corner of said Lot 2;
thence South 0° 58' 30" East along the easterly line of
said Lot 2, 108.49 feet to a point; thence South 87° 49'
15" West 200 feet to a point; thence North 0° 58' 30"
West 108.49 feet to a point; thence North 87° 40' 15"
East 200 feet to the point of beginning. EXCEPT THERE-
FROM the easterly 20 feet thereof.
That portion of Lot 2 in Block 6 of Rosemead, as
• per map recorded in Book 21, Pages 114 and 115 of Maps in
the office of the County Recorder of said County, described
as follows: Beginning at a point on the easterly line of
said Lot 2, distance southerly thereon 217.80 feet from
the northeast corner of said lot; thence South 0° 58' 30"
East along the easterly line of said lot a distance of
108.49 feet; thence South 87° 40' 15" West 200 feet; thence
North 0° 58' 30" West 108.49 feet; thence North 87° 40' 15"
East 200 feet to the point of beginning. EXCEPT THEREFROM
the northerly 63.49 feet thereof. ALSO EXCEPT the easterly
20 feet thereof.
That portion of Lot 2, Block 6 of Rosemead, as per
map recorded in Book 21, Page 114 of Maps in the office of
the County Recorder of said County, described as follows:
Be inning at a point on the Easterly line of said Lot'2,
326.317 feet Southerly from the Northeast corner of said
• Lot 2; thence running South 0° 58' 30" East 108.773 feet
to a point; thence South 87° 40' 15" West 200 feet to a
point; thence North 0° 58' 30" West.108.773 feet to a
point; thence North 87° 40' 15" East 200 feet to the place
of beginning. EXCEPT THEREFROM that portion described as
follows: Beginning at a point on the northerly line of
Nevada Avenue 50 feet wide, as condemned in a certain
action by the County of Los Angeles, a certified copy of
the decree therefor having been recorded in Book 7888,
Page 120, Official Records, said point being.17.00 feet
westerly from the westerly line of the easterly 20;00 feet
of said Lot 2; thence easterly along said northerly line,
17.00 feet to said westerly line; thence northerly along
said westerly line, a distance of 17.00 feet; thence'"
southwesterly in a direct line to said point of beginning.
ALSO EXCEPT THEREFROM the Easterly 20 feet of said land.
SECTION 2. The City Council further finds that
applicati-'on o Fa Design Overlay on the above described
property would provide better control for proper
development.
SECTION 3. The hereinabove described property shall be
class'Ti i e- as Zone C-3-d as previously stated, on the official
zoning map of the City of Rosemead referred to in Section
9103.1 of the Municipal Code. The Clerk is hereby directed
to note on -said map ".Amended to April 21 1970 " and
insert i-n-such blank the/date of the adoption o this
ordinance.
