AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY, OF ROSEMEAD EXEMPTING
EMERGENCY FALL-OUT SHELTERS FROM PERMIT FEES
UNDER THE BUILDING, ELECTRICAL AND PLUMBING CODES
AND AMENDING THE ROSEMEAD MUNICIPAL CODE
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. No fee shall be required for the issuance
of a permit under the Building Code of the City of Rosemead, to
build a structure designed to be used exclusively as an emergency
fall-out shelter, nor for the issuance of a permit to perform work
regulated by the provisions of the Electrical Code or Plumbing
Code of the City of Rosemead.
Section 2. in order to place the provisions of
Section 1 here- of into full force and effect, certain sections
of the Rosemead Municipal Code are amended to read as herein set
out:
Section 8100 is amended to read:
118100. Ado tion of Building Code. Ordinance
No..2223-of t e county o os Angeles, being the
'Building Code' of the County of Los Angeles, the
text of which is set forth in the Los Angeles County
Building Laws, 1958 Edition, as amended to October 11,
1961, be and the same is hereby adopted by reference
as the Building Code of the City of Rosemead and may.
be cited as such."
Section 8200 is amended to read:
- 118200. Ado tion of Electrical Code. Except'as
hereinafter providea, r inance_No. 2252, being the
Electrical Code of the County of Los Angeles, the
provisions of which are set forth in the Los Angeles
County Building Laws, 1958 Edition, as amended to
October 11, 1961, be and the same is hereby adopted
by reference as the Electrical Code of the City of
Rosemead and may be cited as such."
• Section 8300 is amended to read:
"8300. Ado tion of Plumbing Code. Except as
hereina ter prove e Ordinance No. 69, being the
'Plumbing Code' of Los Angeles County, the provisions
of which are set forth in the Los Angeles County Building
Laws, 1958 Edition, as amended to October 11, 1961, be
and the same is hereby adopted by reference as the
Plumbing Code of the City of Rosemead and may be cited
as such."
