Ordinance No. 031 - Regulating Parking on Rosemead BoulevardORDINANCE NO. 31 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD AMENDING CHAPTER 3 of ARTICLE III OF THE ROSEMEAD MUNICIPAL CODE AND REGU= LATING PARKING ON PORTIONS OF ROSEMEAD BOULEVARD, TEMPLE CITY BOULEVARD, AND VALLEY BOULEVARD. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I: AMENDING MUNICIPAL CODE. Section 3312.6 is added to Part Xll of Chapter 3 of Article III of the Rosemead Municipal Code to read as follows: 'Section 3312.6. Streets Designated for Two Hour Parking. The following streets and portions of-streets are hereby designated for two hour parking pursuant to Section 3312 of this Code: Rosemead Boulevard. Both sides thereof between Mission Drive and Steele • Street. Valley Boulevard. North Side thereof between Muscatel Avenue and Loma Avenue; South side thereof-between Muscatel Avenue and Hart Avenue. PAIR PARKING PROVISION: The City Traffic Engineer is authorized and directed to install and maintain parking space markings to provide for and indicate pair parking spaces parallel to and adjacent to the curbings along and upon the aforesaid portions of Valley Boulevard and Rosemead Boulevard." SECTION 2. AMENDING MUNICIPAL CODE. • Section 3312.7 is added to Part X11 of Chapter 3 of Article III of the Rosemead Municipal Code to read as follows: "Section 3312.7• Streets Designated for No Parking. The following streets and portions of streets are hereby designated upon which parking is prohibited at all times pursuant to Section 3312.3 of this Code: y Temple City Boulevard. West side thereof from a point 1100 feet north of Valley Boulevard, north to the City Limits." SECTION 3. Engineering and traffic surveys indicate that the oreng traffic regulations are essential to alle- viate hazardous conditions along and upon the streets herein- above mentioned in the City of Rosemead and without such re- gulation said streets and intersections would be hazardous and dangerous to life and property. This ordinance is therefore required for the immediate preservation of the publice peace, health and safety and shall take effect immediately upon passage thereof.
