ORDINANCE NO. 125
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD CHANGING
THE ZONE CLASSIFICATION OF PROPERTY AND AMENDING THE
THE ROSEMEAD MUNICIPAL CODE.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD DOES HEREBY ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The zone classification of the following
describe U -Property is hereby changed from Zone R-1 5000 to
Zone R-3:
That portion of Lot 10 in Block 2 of Rosemead,
in the City of Rosemead, County of Los Angeles,
State of California, as per map recorded in
Book 12 page 194 of Maps, in the office of the
County Recorder of said County, described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the West line of said
Lot 10, at Southwest corner of 2 acre parcel of
land, in said lot, described in deed to Dwight S.
Bryant, et al., recorded in Book 6216 page-133 of
Deeds, said point of beginning being distant
Southerly 59~+ feet from the most Northerly corner
of said Lot 10; thence Southerly along the West line
of said lot and the prolongation thereof, 396 feet
to the centerline of San Gabriel and El Monte Road;
thence along said center line of said Road, South
64021' East 230 feet; thence Northerly parallel with
the West line of said Lot, 396 feet to the Southerly
line of said 2 acre parcel of land conveyed to Dwight
S. Bryant, et al., as above recited; thence North-
westerly along the Southerly line of said 2 acre
parcel of land, 230 feet to the point of beginning.
Section 2. The zone classification of the following
describe Z -property is hereby changed from Zone R-1 and Zone
M-1 to Zone R-3:
That portion of Lot 2 of Tract No. 3315 in the City
of Rosemead, County of Los Angeles, State of
• California, as per map recorded in book 36 page 22
of Maps, in the office of the county recorder of
said county, described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the south line of said
lot distant thereon, South 890 43' 30" West, 175.00
feet, from the southeast corner of said lot; thence
North 00 21' 31" West, 75.00 feet- thence parallel
with said south lot line North 896 43' 30" East,
123.75 feet to the northeast line of said lot;
thence along said northeast lot line, North 340
38' 30" West, to a point therein, distant south-
easterly thereon, 173.20 feet, from the southerly
line of Pomona Boulevard, as shown on said map, said
point being also an angle point in the easterly
boundary of that certain parcel of land, described
as Parcel "1211, in the deed to the Southern California
Edison Company, recorded on January 23, 1923, in
book 1752, page 266, Official Records of said county;
thence along said last mentioned easterly line,
South 00 01 18" East, to the southerly line of said
lot 2, thence along said southerly lot line, South
890 43' 30" East, 126.29 feet, to the point of beginning.
Section 3. The Official Zoning Map of the City of
Rosemead ate ctober 24, 1963, referred to in Section 9103.
of the Rosemead Municipal Code is hereby amended by changing
thereon the classification of the above described property. as
provided in Sections 1 and 2 hereof, The Clerk is hereby
directed to note on said map "Amended to "
and to insert in suchiblank the date of a-.option o M=s
ordinance.
Section.4. Section 3 of Ordinance No. 123 entitled
"AN ORDIN~F THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD CHANGING THE ZONE
CLASSIFICATION OF PROPERTY AND AMENDING THE ROSEMEAD MUNICIPAL
CODE":adopted` December 23, 1963, is hereby repealed:
Section 5. Section 9103.1 of the Rosemead Municipal
Code is: hereby amended inserting therein after the words
and figures,"`dated October 24,.1963," the words "as amended."
