Ordinance No. 108 - Temporary Interim Zoning OrdinanceORDINANCE NO, 103 AN, ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD AMENDING THE PROVISIONS OF THE TEMPORARY INTERIM ZONING ORDINANCE WITH RESPECT TO C-1, C-2, C-3 AND C-4 REGULATIONS AND AMENDING THE MUNICIPAL CODE THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY Or ROSEMEAD DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Chapter 1 of Article IX of the Rosemead Municipa Co e, Section 9100 thereof, is hereby amended by adding a new subsection (a-10) thereto, to read: "(a-10). Notwithstanding the foregoing provisions of subsection (a) of this section 9100, Article III of Chapter 2 of the Zoning Ordinance of the County of Los Angeles, hereinabove adopted by reference as the tem- porary interim zoning ordinance of the City of Rosemead, is hereby amended by adding to subsection kb) of Section 255 the following: L] provided that in computing the area required to be unoccupied by structures, the owner of any such property may add the area of anv other parcel of property owned by him situated within the same city block and which is being, or will be, ]awfully used for parking purposes pursuant to City Administrator approval; provided, further, that such parcel is readily accessible for the parking of vehicles in con- junction with the use of such property and that the area of such parcel is not used in computing the area required to be unoccupied, for any other property. Before such area may be so computed for purposes of this subsection the owner of such pro- perty shall first obtain the approval of the City Administrator of plot plan showing the location of the property and parcel in question and of ex- isting and proposed structures thereon, and the dimensions and location of the access-way proposed to be used. The City Administrator, as a condition of such approval, may require satisfactory proof of ownership, the showing of any other 'pertinent facts, and such modifications of the proposed plot plan as will enable the convenient use of said parcel for parking in conjunction with said property." Section 2. Chapter 1 of Article IX of the Rosemead Municipa Cl ode, -~"ection 9100 thereof, is hereby amended by adding a new subsection ~a-11 theretc, to read: "(a-11). Notwithstanding the foregoing provisions of subsection (a) of this section 9100, Article III of Chapter 2 of said Zoning Ordinance of the County of Los Angeles is hereby rr:ended by adding to section 749 thereof the followinc: provided that in computing the area required to be unoccupied by structures, the owner of any such property may adj the area or any other parcel of property owned by him situated within the same city block and which is being, or will be, lawfully used for parking purposes pursuant to City Administ- rator approval; provided further, that such parcel is readily accessible for the parking of vehicles in conjunction with the use of such property and that the area of such parcel is not used in computing the area required to be unoccupied, for any other property. Before such area may be so computed for purposes of this subsection, the owner of such property shall first obtain the approval of the City Administrator of a plot plan showing the location of the property and parcel in question and of exist- ing and proposed structures thereon and the dimen- sions and location of the access-way proposed to be used. The City Administrator, as a condition of such approval, may require satisfactory proof of ownership, showing of any other pertinent facts, and such modifications of the proposed plot plan as will enable the convenient use of said parcel for parking in conjunction with said property."' Section 3. A new section (a-12) is added to Section 9100 of Me Rosemead Municipal Code to read: "(a-12) An exception may be granted from the requirements of Sections 255(b) and 749 of said Los Angeles County Zoning Ordinance with respect to the required unoccupied area, in the manner provided by Chapters 5 and 6 of said ordinance, upon a finding that the property concerned is within a parking district which provides adequate off street parking for such property and other properties within such district and served thereby." 1963.
