TRIPEPI, CITY MANAGER DATE: JULY 21, 1999 RE: AUTHORIZATION TO ATTEND LEAGUE OF CALIFORNIA CITIES COMMUNITY SERVICES AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CONFERENCE, AUGUST 4-6, 1999, MONTEREY Attached for your consideration is information regarding the aforementioned conference. There will be sessions on the following topics: Creating Livable Communities, Building Community Support for Economic Development, Economic Collaboration, and Economic Development, The Internet, and the Future of Sales Tax. The Council has authorized attendance in the past and it has proven to be of benefit to the Community.
