TRIPEPI, CITY MANAGER DATE: DECEMBER 6, 1999 RE: AUTHORIZATION TO ATTEND 33RD ANNUAL CONTRACT CITIES LEGISLATIVE ORIENTATION TOUR JANUARY 10-12, 2000, SACRAMENTO Attached for your consideration is information regarding the aforementioned conference. There are meetings scheduled with Legislators and Committee Chairmen. Sessions are also scheduled with Constitutional Officers and Department Heads. The Council has authorized attendance in the past and it has proven beneficial to the City. RECOMMENDATION It is recommended that the City Council authorize the attendance of any Council Member, City Attorney, City Manager and staff as designated by the City Manager.
