Attached for your consideration is information regarding the aforementioned conference. This
year's theme is "Navigating Through 25 Years of Success - A Passport to the Future". As always,
the sessions provide educational instruction in subjects beneficial to the City Clerk's office as well
as City Hall itself
RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that the Rosemead City Council authorize the attendance of the City Clerk at
this conference.

Set your course for the Ports of Knowledge. Whether you are an experienced,
new, or want-to-be City Clerk, you will find treasures in each session. The
sessions include a look at 25 years of "Clerkdom," changes, technology and
political processes, as well as a look into the future.
CERTIFICATION
The City Clerks Association of California Annual Institute has been accepted by
the International Institute of Municipal Clerks (MC) for educational points. A
Certificate of Completion will be included in the materials handed out at the
Conference. In order to be eligible for AAE or CMC credit, participants must be
present at sessions during the entire conference and have their passports
stamped.
