Valley Boulevard, Rosemead, California. CC-E AUTHORIZATION TO ATTEND NATIONAL LEAGUE OF CITIES "1997 CONGRESS OF CITIES AND EXPOSITION" -DECEMBER 2-6, 1997, PHILADELPHIA, PENN Robert Angles, 9147 Valley Boulevard, Rosemead, expressed his concern about travelling to the east coast during December due to the inclement weather at that time of year. MOTION BY MAYOR PRO TEM BRUESCH, SECOND BY COUNCILMEMBER VASQUEZ that the Council authorize the attendance of any Councilmember, City Attorney, the City Manager and staff designee. MATTERS FOR DISCUSSION AND ACTION -None VI. STATUS REPORTS A. INSTALLATION OF KEY CLUB AND BUILDING CLUB SIGNS AT CITY ENTRANCES This item will be continued at the request of Mayor Imperial. VII. MATTERS FROM OFFICIALS CC 7-22-97 Page#3 1. MAYOR PRO TEM BRUESCH Requested a status report from CalTrans on the left turn phasing at Valley and Rosemead Boulevard. Requested an update on obtaining the CalTrans property at Hellman and 10 freeway. Councilmember Taylor requested the tentative concepts for that property. 2. MAYOR IMPERIAL Requested an update on Howard's Appliance move to the City. VIII. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE AUDIENCE - None IX.
