CALIFORNIA CITIES CONFERENCE, OCTOBER 12-14, 1997
SAN FRANCISCO
Attached for your consideration is information concerning the aforementioned conference.
Session topics include: Welfare Reform at the State and Federal Level, Youth Oriented
Organizations and Local Government Collaborations, Practical Ethics and the Public Trust,
California Economic Development for the 21st Century,Brown Act Updates, Facilitation Skills
for public officials and Doing Successful Community Outreach. The City has attended this
conference in the past and it has proven to be of benefit to the City.
RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the Rosemead City Council authorize the attendance of any
Councilmember, the City Attorney, the City Manager and staff as designated by the City
Manager.
