RE: AUTHORIZATION TO ATTEND CALIFORNIA CONTRACT
CITIES ASSOCIATION 17TH ANNUAL FALL SEMINAR
SEPTEMBER 19-21, 1997, SAN DIEGO
Attached for your consideration is information regarding the aforementioned conference. The
theme for this year's conference is "Contracting for Municipal Services Does Not Cost, It Pays!
It's Still the Better Bargain in Town." The seminar will include updates on Proposition 218,
SAFER, FEMA and NAFTA. The Council has attended this conference in the past and it has
proven to be of benefit to the City.
RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the Rosemead City Council authorize the attendance of any
Councilmember, the City Manager and staff designee.
