I As required by guidelines of the Department of Housing and Urban Development(HUD), the
City issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) for contract services for the Senior Citizen Lunch
Program to provide service on an annual basis for up to three years, based on satisfactory
performance. In response, the City received proposals from Morrison Health Care and Catering
on Location.
' As indicated in the RFP,the responses were evaluated by using the following criteria:
Thoroughness in response to RFP 20%
Technical approach/scope of work 20%
Experience of proposed personnel 20%
Firm's overall experience 10%
• Cost 30%
Staff has attached a copy of each proposal. In general, both proposals were complete. However,
Morrison's proposal was the more thorough, and there were significant differences with regard to
I "Overall Experience" and "Cost."
