RE: AUTHORIZATION TO ATTEND CALIFORNIA CONTRACT CITIES
31ST ANNUAL SACRAMENTO LEGISLATIVE TOUR
JANUARY 13-15, 1997
Attached for your consideration is information regarding the aforementioned conference.
Activities include sessions with Legislators and Constitutional Officers, meetings with Senate and
Assembly leadership, and an evening reception in the State Capitol Rotunda. The Council has
attended this conference in the past and it has proven to be of benefit to the community.
RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the City Council authorize the attendance of any Councilmember,the City
Attorney, the City Manager and staff as assigned by the City Manager.
