Minutes of January 21, 1;65
A. special meeting of the City Council of the City of Rosemead was
held in the Council Chambers, 315 East Valley i;ouievard. The meeting
was called to order by Mayor Andersen at 7:31: o'clock a.m.
CALL TO ORDER
The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Councilman Lowrey.
The Invocation was delivered by Mayor Andersen.
ROLL CALL
Presc~nt: Councilmen: Andersen, Jackman, Lowrey, Maude.
Absent: Councilmen: Stead.
Er. officio: Armstrong.
iMayor Andersen advised the Council that this meeting had been tailed
to consider annexation matters.
RESOLUTION NO. 65-3.

Mayor Andersen advised the Council that the original petition had
proven insufficient and a supplemental petition had been filed.
Sig:'latures have been certified sufficient by the Registrars offica.
Mayor Andersen advised the Council this resolution sets the public
hearin for February 9, 1965.
It was moved by Councilman Jackman, second by Councilman Lowr;av, and
unanimously carried, that this resolution be read by title only.
Mayor Andersen presented this resolution by title only.
It was moved by Councilman 1-6wrey, second by Councilman Maude, that
2esolution No. 65-3 be adopted.
Roll tail vote as follows:
