CC - 1972 - 75 - Allocation of County Aid to Cities Funds for the Widening, Reconstruction and Traffic Signal Modification RESOLUTION NO. 72-75
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEMEAD
REQUESTING AN ALLOCATION OF COUNTY AID TO CITIES FUNDS FOR
THE WIDENING, RECONSTRUCTION AND TRAFFIC SIGNAL MODIFICATION
OF MISSION DRIVE FROM RUBIO WASH TO IVAR AVENUE.
WHEREAS, the County of Los Angeles has appropriated certain
monies to the City of Rosemead as County Aid to Cities; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to expend the amount of
$56,378.00 of said funds accrued to the City for the widening,
reconstruction, and traffic signal modification on Mission Drive
from Rubio Wash to Ivar Avenue ; and
WHEREAS, Mission Drive is included in the City's currently
approved Select System of Streets;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Rosemead
resolved that:
1 . The County of Los Angeles is hereby requested to
allocate $56, 378 . 00 of the Aid to Cities Funds
apportioned to the City for the work specified above.
2. The Los Angeles County Road' Department, when approved
by the County, is hereby authorized and requested to
retain these funds and apply them as a portion of the
City's contribution to this project .
3. The City Clerk is directed to forward a certified copy
of this resolution to the Los Angeles County Road
Commissioner for processing.
